The Casa Municipal da Cultura is recognized as the most important noble residence in Cantanhede.

In 2016, A1V2-Engenharia Civil e Arquitetura, Lda. developed a rehabilitation project for the cultural complex, which includes the Casa Municipal da Cultura and the former Technical and Professional School of Cantanhede.

The project aimed to strengthen the physical and visual connection between the building and Largo Pedro Teixeira, improving urban integration and the functionality of the space.

The privileged location of the Casa Municipal da Cultura, close to other points of historical and cultural interest, and its Baroque architecture, make it a significant landmark in the heritage of Cantanhede.

The space is also distinguished by the diversity and quality of the exhibitions and events it hosts, contributing to the cultural life of the community.
