Caves Primavera

Caves Primavera were founded in 1944 by brothers Vital and Lucénio Rodrigues de Almeida. Its first facilities were in the center of the village of Aguada de Baixo, approximately 800 meters from the current facilities.

Initially known as Vinícola Primavera, its name was changed in 1954, when the company began to have facilities with a sparkling wine cellar. The success of Caves Primavera was only possible due to the effort, dedication and work of two great men, the brothers Lucénio and Vital de Almeida.

Our founders started their activities when they were very young and, together, they formed a great duo. Always motivated by their dream, they associated the name Primavera with something more than just a season, starting a new cycle in the world of wines.
