Junior Science Centre

The Junior Science Center, also known as Biocas, is an educational and interactive space dedicated to promoting scientific and technological culture among young people.
Located in Cantanhede, within the Biocant Park, this center offers hands-on activities, scientific workshops, and experimental experiences that make knowledge accessible, dynamic, and fun. It is an invitation to discover science through active participation, sparking interest in biotechnology, the environment, chemistry, physics, and life sciences.
Observations
Most of the activities are aimed at the school audience, but there are also programs for families and occasional visitors, by appointment.

Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00
Particularities
The center has equipped laboratories and themed rooms adapted to the age of the participants, offering a pedagogical experience tailored to each group.
Extra Information
It organizes vacation programs, themed weeks, and laboratory visits, making it an excellent educational alternative outside the school context.
