Centro de Estudos de Santo António (St Anthony Study Centre)

Part of the estate was donated by the collector Alfredo Bastos or by private citizens wishing to enlarge and improve the exhibition. Set up in 2006, the Centre is housed in the rooms of the Parish Council of Santo António dos Olivais. There is also a Children?s Room, with handcrafts by Aristides Fernandes and João Morujo, both artist live in this parish. Among these pieces are models of chapels, characteristic local houses, windmills, old forms of transportation, and even the Olivais Church, the Olivais Sports Pavilion and the nearby University Hospital.
