Chapel of Nossa Senhora das Lezírias

The Chapel of Nossa Senhora das Lezírias, situated in Lezírias, parish of São Lourenço do Bairro, was built in the middle of the 17th century.

It is thought that this chapel has substituted a small oratory that existed there, a fact evidenced by the sculpture of the Virgin, dated from the 15th century, that remains in the place.

In the interior there is also the tomb of its founder, Father António Álvares.
