Particularities
Designed by the architect António Monteiro, the Briosa stadium also has a track that guarantees a wide range of sports. Athletics are a regular feature of the stadium, where some university classes also take place during the week.

The stadium has four levels with a total of 30,000 seats. It is equipped with a high competition natural grass pitch, with a synthetic reinforcement at the base, which allows intensive use for Football and Rugby. It is also equipped with an official Athletics track, indoor athletics corridors, 2 warm-up rooms, 2 gyms and a Judo Training Centre. It also has several indoor areas for administrative, commercial and business use.
