Observations
It is believed that the original construction may have taken place in the middle of the 17th century, the church having suffered more profound remodelling work in 1786, and more recently, in the 20th century.
The body of the church is particularly valuable from a patrimonial point of view, with the panelled ceiling painted with rococo motifs; the ceiling of the sanctuary has a stone dome decorated with ornate octagonal dome segments, the adjacent chapels, the main retable and two baroque angels of considerable size all deserve particular reference.
