Manuel Rodrigues Lapa Monument

Manuel Rodrigues Lapa (1897-1989) was born in Anadia, on the 22nd April.

Philologist, University Professor at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon, he was the author of studies on medieval poetry, besides other studies that became obligatory reference marks.

He was director of the newspaper "O Diabo" and of the collections "Textos Literários" of Seara Nova. He also wrote the book "Estilística da Língua Portuguesa".
