Museu do Cancioneiro de Águeda

The Museu do Cancioneiro de Águeda is in a restored building, that used to be a manor house built in the 18th century, and is one of the most beautiful and historical houses of the city. The exhibition of the heritage and the estate of the Cancioneiro is done in a home environment and in scenes from everyday family life. These are varied and presented in different costumes: festive scenes or every-day ones, according to the decoration and staging of the depictions and they faithfully represent scenes from the first half of the 20th century.
