Pavilhão Centro de Portugal (Center of Portugal Pavilion)

Presentation
The Pavilion, sited in the Parque Verde on the right bank of the Mondego and was designed by the architects Souto Moura and Siza Vieira for Expo 2000 in Hanover, Germany. It is 1375 square metres in area, and hosts exhibitions, concerts and other cultural events.
Observations
The management of the Amenities and the planning of cultural activities was ceded by the Municipality of Coimbra to the Orquestra Clássica do Centro (Classic Orchestra of the Centre of Portugal), for a period of five years.
