Porcão Dam

The Porcão Dam is located in the parish of Vila Nova de Monsarros, Anadia.

With about 25 meters of height, it is, in part, fed by the Ribeira do Porcão.

It plays an important role in supplying water to the parish's irrigation system, when the Serra River can no longer supply water to the agricultural fields.

It is a main water collection point during forest fires.
