Portugal dos Pequenitos opened on the 8th of June 1940 and is a recreational, pedagogical and tourism attraction, conceived by Bissaya Barreto and designed by the architect Cassiano Branco.
Observations
It represents in detail and on a small scale, a wide range of elements of Portuguese architecture and history (Monuments, Regional Houses, Countries with Portuguese as official language and holds Costume, Navy and Furniture Museums).
This park, which is located in Coimbra, is the oldest theme park in Portugal and probably one of the first in the whole World.
