Praça do Peixe (Fish Square)

This unique example of iron architecture of Aveiro was built in one of the most characteristic locations of the city, where most of the Aveiro nightlife currently takes place. It dates back to the first decade of the 20th century, and right from the onset was a very important market because of its privileged location, near Cais dos Botirões (a former salt and fish handling pier).
