This ancient Sanctuary was founded in 1204 by King Sancho I. This is a pleasant and natural place that invites devotion and prayer and brings peace of mind. This Sanctuary is also rich in historical events, legends and traditions. Every year, thousands of faithful visitors come to the site. The door and benedictory (16th century) a 14th century sculpture and the 18th century pulpit are things to marvel at.
It was overhauled in the 19th century but keeps elements of the 17th century. There is an image of the Patron Saint, made of stone, from the 17th century.
