Igreja Paroquial de Tamengos

This church was dedicated to São Pedro and its construction was started in 1716 and was concluded in 1721. On the left side of the church there is a small and narrow chapel from the end of the 17th century. The sculptures on the high altar are made of limestone by sculptors from Coimbra. The sculptures of S. Pedro (from the end of the 14th century) and S. Paulo (16th century) are outstanding.
