Museu Etnográfico da Pampilhosa

This museum is housed in the former barn of Freiras (nuns) of Lorvão, and collects and exhibits ethnographical material relating to pig breeding (fictional; documental archives;bibliography). It is an activity with secular roots in the Mealhada region and whose highest exponent is the famous Leitão da Bairrada (oven-roasted suckling pig).
