Acquired in 2009, this extensive property is located in São Lourenço do Bairro, Anadia, in the heart of Bairrada, a wine-growing area par excellence and a Region especially cherished by IDEALDRINKS.
The 80 hectares of vineyards are spread through the clay-limestone soils of the gentle hills typical of the Region, which gave origin to its name.

History
The São Lourenço Hills Estate, the first property to become part of the Group's estate, is a modern and exemplary farm which marks the origin of IDEALDRINKS.
The estate's winery, built according to the best examples worldwide, makes use of the most modern winemaking technology, moving all the liquids and masses by gravity. The large ageing rooms, equipped with the best French oak barrels, meet the ideal conditions for the tranquil resting of the wines which, normally, also age in bottle for several years. The reserve wines destined for the production of sparkling wines also age in these rooms in imposing reserve tonnels.
The tradition of the Bairrada terroir and the know-how of the IDEALDRINKS team are combined here with the modernity of the vineyard and of the winemaking processes to produce wines and sparkling wines of high complexity and elegance, presented through a rich and wide portfolio which includes the Principal, Colinas and São Lourenço brands.
