Journey through Bairrada wine district by Caves São Domingos

Caves do Solar de São Domingos were founded by Elpídio Martins Semedo, in 1937. Today, they house in their galleries excavated in the rock, more than two million bottles of sparkling wine, thousands of bottled wines and hundreds of French oak quarts for their famous wine spirits.

By booking this experience, in addition to getting to know these cellars, you can learn how to perform some of the work in the vineyards.

• Pruning - between November and February
• Budbreak - between March and June
• Harvest - between August and October

09h30 - Welcome reception at Associação Rotada Bairrada, Curia

10h00 - Activities in the vineyards of Quinta de S. Lourenço, Óis do Bairro or S. Mateus, with sparkling wine accompanied by savory appetizers

12h30 - Visit to the Caves São Domingos galleries where you can watch the sparkling wines stage

13h00 - Lunch and tasting of São Domingos sparkling wines, wines and spirits
